Pros

Free coffee and coke as they promote

Cons

If you are bored and want to make friends, this is the perfect place for you. Daily gossip and drama with fake friends will make your life fulfilled. The only thing they spend money on is their office to make their business look legit. And the only reason their business (owner & mgmt ppl) make revenue is by paying employees minimum wage hourly. The management makes a big deal if you work overtime 30 mins. Pretty interesting to see how those upper management people play corporate “executives”. They require a 4 yr university degree (the better school, the more welcome) for a coordinator position when “executives” don’t even have a college degree. There are only two types of employees. Either you are a family/friend of “BENSON” that have been working for 10 years, or you are trying to leave after less than 3 months. There’s no such thing as career path at this business. All they brag about is a coke free machine and free coffee. It’s kinda of sad to look at those brain washed employees that have no experience think that this is a legit corporate environment.

Thank you for your feedback. We are committed to creating a comfortable, transparent and collaborative environment for our associates. I’m glad to hear you enjoy some of the perks of the office but am disappointed to hear about your overall experience. I would like to address a few of the concerns you mentioned: • While we do encourage an open and collaborative culture, we do not endorse “daily gossip” and address any concerns as they arise, as should the participants and their department leadership. If you were still with us, I’d encourage you to report these opportunities when they are actionable so we can make positive adjustments in real time. • We want all associates to have the tools, resources and support to execute on their responsibilities while minimizing controllable overtime. As does any profit-generating organization, you are correct that we do pay attention to overtime and have no issues for valid causes. Our organization does support hourly and salary employees that vary on role and responsibility. • You are also correct that we are proud of our office design and the employee perks, but certainly invest in and advertise many other areas of the business, which we share with all associates at quarterly town halls and various internal communications. We are thrilled to have invested over $3 million dollars in state-of the-art equipment and technology, as one example. We also recently invested another $500,000.00 across 11 new systems, technologies and equipment to make everyone’s jobs easier and more efficient. As I mentioned in our last two company meetings, I personally want to do a better job to ensure all company updates are more effective at all levels of the organization. • Our management team is working hard to add new career pathing opportunities and continued education/training, as well as strengthening our internal communications around these topics. • I am proud of the expertise, leadership and bench strength of all Benson executives and the business we have all built together. You are correct that some roles require a specialty degree, like a graphic designer. Project coordinators interfacing with clients require a bachelor’s degree in business, management or similar degree preferred…or equivalent work experience. The same applies to all positions at all levels, including members of our leadership team some with over 25 years of experience in their field. We believe these standards help us to offer world-class service to our clients. I have an open-door policy and would like to extend an invitation to meet with you privately to discuss your concerns. As the founder and CEO, it’s my goal to provide a fun, challenging and rewarding work atmosphere. Please email me or call to review further. Thank you again for your feedback. Sincerely, Brian Benson CEO and Founder Email- brian@yourbenson.com 678-771-8808

Pros

- Fast paced, growing company, huge on improving its culture & benefits. - One of the fewer companies who are transparent with company financials. - CEO is always available and reachable; passionate and extremely raw and transparent about the company. - Client satisfaction is extremely important, and it shows in the expectations needed for all departments. - A company that truly does give back to the community through its non-profit partnerships. - Plenty of company events and volunteer opportunities. - Always making improvements to existing workflows to make it easier for everyone involved. - A lot of room to make mistakes and learn from your errors. - Supportive management all-around across departments (personal experience from reporting to 3 different managers across 2 departments) - Company believes in employee growth and is always providing opportunities to cross-train and assist with other teams. - Plenty of work to go around; lots of opportunities to make real impact in the company. - Hybrid/Remote opportunities for certain roles.

Cons

- I think when starting here, if you are not familiar with the print/sign industry-- there may be a slight learning curve, but the organization does an amazing job with training and keeping that an open-mind for newer people. - A lot of different product lines to keep aware of; can be overwhelming at first. - Some workflows/systems are still a little bit dated and could benefit from more modernization. - Plenty of work to go around (some teams handle larger clients than others).

Pros

I work alongside an incredible group of people who are consistently supportive, collaborative, and genuinely invested in one another’s success. Being part of a team that is not only high-performing but also uplifting makes a meaningful difference in the day-to-day experience, and I truly value contributing to that kind of environment. One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is seeing the direct impact of our work. We’re able to help simplify and streamline our clients’ processes, and it’s fulfilling to know that what we deliver creates real, tangible value for them. Client visits are a great extension of that—we have the opportunity to build strong relationships, showcase our expertise, and demonstrate how partnering with Benson can be both a strategic investment and a long-term success. The company also does a great job of fostering a positive culture. From a thoughtful holiday shutdown between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day to engaging employee events throughout the year, there’s a clear emphasis on balance. There’s an understanding that while we’re here to deliver results, it’s just as important to create space to connect, celebrate wins, and enjoy the work we do together.

Cons

Some of the tools we use don’t always integrate seamlessly, which can slow things down. Some processes are still evolving, so there’s opportunity to improve efficiency and consistency.
