Pros

I can't recall any positive experiences about working for Benning Power Electronics. As far as I can tell, working here has been horrible from then until now.

Cons

Management is incredibly controlling, yet they have no idea what they're doing. They make us try to reach ridiculous targets, meet every concern we have about their expectations with aggression, and simply dismiss our worries as irrelevant. It's already nearly impossible to satisfy their impossible demands, but they also like to meddle in our work, most likely thinking they're better than us at our jobs. Their micromanagement does nothing but frustrate us, and get in the way of us making progress.

Glassdoor refuses to remove reviews, even if it is computer generated. We do not have "sales associates" that work here. This is another fraudulent review that was auto generated from a company trying to get us to hire them to "improve our ratings" but we will not buy reviews. Do me a favor and see if any of these posts reference anything specific that could not be copy and pasted to apply to another company. None of these issues on any of these posts have ever been brought to the attention of HR or management. We are a close knit company that helps each other out whenever and wherever possible.

Pros

An excellent organization that is one step ahead of its competitors. I've met a few people and found that working with them is fun. I'm always able to seek aid, guidance, and direction from my peers. Pay is good and there are many benefits. Overall, I feel I am pretty blessed.

Cons

None. I have not encountered any disadvantages as of now.

Pros

Excellent quality, well built modules/components from Germany. Great potential squandered by incompetent management/owners.

Cons

The upper management have bred a toxic internal culture and bad attitude of how the customer is treated, the attitude is "if you don't like it go somewhere else". Even though there is plenty open unused space, everyone is crammed into one small open plan space so 'management' can execute there micromanagement tactics (see next few points)... One day remote work per week, even for sales staff as long as it is not a Monday or Friday. 8am Monday morning office meetings. Company issued iPhone which they use to track your location (I have screenshot evidence of this), unfortunate for them iPhone notifies the user when they are being tracked...perhaps IT and HR needs some training. Employees are expected to stay at substandard hotels to remain within the government Per Diem rate and expected to use the cheapest transport method available (eg. Uber X) all detailed in the 40+ page employee rule book when joining. CRM is non-existent, they use a pathetic 3rd party product which does not integrate with the ERP system and everyone shares the 5 available licenses. That means you will use someone else login and share/merge information from various departments, how pathetic!. They will not issue zoom pro licenses either as they have already issued the available licenses to a select few. Dilapidated office/factory, the water literally pours into the warehouse when it rains, the office ceilings are yellow, the window blinds don't close (broken), when the AC turns on it rattles the windows such that it's nearly impossible to hear the phone ring and all they can muster is Folgers drip coffee! Service department is inexperienced, exudes arrogance which spills over to the customer whilst thinking it is acceptable to charge 3 times the industry rate even when the "qualified" field staff are not able to resolve simple problems onsite! Everyone, let me repeat EVERYONE reports to ONE person, the CEO...not good for so many different reasons but would be less of an issue if you have a real LEADER running the show!
