Pros

Some supportive Coworkers: Some staff members are friendly and supportive, providing a sense of camaraderie amidst the challenges. Employee Discount: The store offers a 20% discount, with occasional double discount days, which can be a perk for employees.

Cons

Chaotic Management Structure: The store suffers from an overabundance of managers, leading to inconsistent directives and confusion among staff. This disorganization hampers productivity and creates a stressful work environment. Senior Sales Associates: longstanding sales associates exhibit territorial behaviors, often refraining from assisting new employees in acclimating to promote your failure. Training is minimal. Humiliating Work Culture: Employees often face belittlement from management, fostering a culture of humiliation that negatively impacts morale and job satisfaction. Demanding Workload: The job entails long hours with relentless inventory tasks and restocking duties, contributing to physical exhaustion and burnout. Unethical Credit Card Sales Practices: There is immense pressure to push high-interest-rate credit cards onto customers, a practice that feels both predatory and unethical. For instance, a customer who had recently overcome homelessness purchased over $400 in clothing to donate to a women's shelter. Despite her recent credit struggles, the manager insisted she apply for a credit card, disregarding her circumstances.

Pros

I love the job and the work I do. Regional and corporate leadership are amazing.

Cons

Dated business practices. Less than bare minimum staffing causes so much unnecessary strain on employees. Hard working employees have to do the work of multiple employees because the staffing is not sufficient. Very difficult to have a work life balance when you're constantly in burnout with high levels of stress.
