Pros
A few coworkers were genuinely wonderful and supportive. Some products are quality and we used to receive them as free gratis. Work-from-home flexibility was a plus. You’ll bond quickly with others—mostly because everyone is trying to survive the same poor leadership.
Cons
Leadership is toxic, unstable, and completely disconnected from the reality of day-to-day operations. Nearly the entire company was laid off a week before Christmas, leaving employees blindsided and traumatized. Once new leadership took over, morale tanked and burnout became the norm. Employees were expected to juggle multiple roles without additional pay or support. Constant miscommunication and last-minute demands created a chaotic, high-stress environment. Mental and physical exhaustion became standard across the team. Psychological safety does not exist—this role gave 90% of employees lasting stress and anxiety.
