Pros
1. open culture. The company has regular 30min talks between individuals to hear feedbacks. And in high level it conducts company-wide weekly meetings to broadcast updates from all the markets. So information is very transparent here. 2. idea meritocracy and data-driven Good ideas are respected and pushed into production. Most of the decisions and improvements are supported and verified by data. 3. fast growing The business itself is solid and fast-growing. The industry is moving in a positive direction and I feel cities are starting to welcome the new mode of transportation. There are some bad news in the early days, like scooters been throwing into water etc, but these days it is more regulated and scooter vandalisation is well managed, though it still happens occasionally (lots of room to improve!). 4. cares for environment impact and government relationship. 5. good packages, stock options, unlimited leaves, insurance coverage, flexible working hours (and locations). Performance evaluation is generally result-oriented. If you want, trips to local markets are very welcome:)
Cons
There are some challenges though. 1. The market is competitive with lots of different companies offering very similar service. For example, in Seoul one city there are 10+ companies on this. 2. The HQ is in Singapore, however Singapore government banned the service:( This may result in a bit negative impression for people not familiar with the industry and also lead to some difficulties in testing.
