Pros

Not many good things to talk really.

Cons

Everything is driven by profit. There’s no real expectation to provide quality service to clients — the only focus is closing sales. Despite what’s advertised, it’s never about genuinely helping the customer. We’re expected to dedicate 100% of our time to selling, not supporting. As lighting designers, we’re supposed to assist clients with lighting choices and space planning. But in reality, we’re forced to cram five consultations into five hours, leaving no time for proper planning or producing quality materials for the client.
