Stay Away - CNC Programmer Bay Cast Employee Review

I did enjoy the work that I did, but that would be true at any company with the same work

(Front office work) Most fellow employees were very unfriendly, with one even refusing to speak with me when I would say hello, goodbye, etc. with no apparent reason. The owner is extremely full of himself and thinks he's the next Jeff Bezos. I was hired on as an assistant for purchasing as the person previously doing it had a large workload and had a big backlog. I was also told that I would be taught and take up some of the accounts payable activities after the backlog had been cleard. After, moving my family 2 hours away for the position, working on purchasing for 4 months and getting them caught up, and with a baby 2 months away from being born, I was laid off. If you're considering working for Bay Cast, just be aware that you will be viewed as entirely expendable and that the owner 100% does not care about you or your well-being.

Pay is ok for professionals. Great coworkers

Worst communication in an company I have worked for. Management will lie to you. Training is non existent. If you are a favorite you can do no wrong.
