Pros

No one has heard of the company so it is a blank slate when it comes to marketing. 25 days PTO. Remote.

Cons

Cheap and unfinished products. No unique value proposition. Behind in technology. High turnover. No documentation or case studies. Hardly any companies want to work with battleface because the website looks so elementary and customer reviews are hit or miss. The technology is really old and inflexible.

Pros

There is so much flexibility and PTO. Sasha, Mike and the leadership care about their people and do the right thing. Since the org is growing, there's a lot of room for growth if you stay around long enough. There is very little turnover, which is surprising for a start-up, and a lot of the "Day 1" employees are still around.

Cons

General struggles of a start-up - strategies can shift based on viability of ideas

Pros

Company Equity, which is only relevant if they are successful when sold. Health Benefits are good PTO is generous

Cons

The organization is playing in a very competitive market with products that are nothing new to the industry. They also bill themselves as a Technology company yet its simply an API that nearly every competitor is offering including embedded insurance products, As far as the leadership team goes, some are good and some are bad. It only takes one executive to create a toxic work environment for many, If you work near that individual on a daily basis then your job would certainly prove to be challenging if not impossible. As you get to know your coworkers, you get a sense that many simply are not happy. If you interview, I would recommend asking why they enjoy working there and gauge their responses, As you can read by previous company reviews, turnover is a historic problem as is the poor behavior of some in a leadership position. Above all, trust your gut when deciding to work here. There are a lot of smoke and mirrors as well as flat out deceit.
