Pros
Really fantastic team of coworkers. Everyone is very friendly and supportive of one another. You’ll love collaborating with every single person here. The company is always growing and evolving and there is truly great potential. The team isn’t that large and you are significant enough to make a real impact on the structure, process, and direction of the company. Nothing ever stays stagnant and boring here. I’ve had great opportunities for professional growth and learning here. Management is very encouraging of you pursuing new subject matter to widen your expertise and will provide the support and mentorship to do so. They’re open to allowing you to evolve your role and title and move across teams. Many of the clients are wonderful - projects are interesting and challenging, you get exposure to how different companies do things across a range of industries (really great for entrepreneurial-minded folks), and you feel your work provides significant value to the client’s business. Other misc things: - Free lunch - Warm, homey environment with open office floor plan - Great location by Little Italy, Chinatown, Nolita, and Soho - Flexible WFH - Pet friendly
Cons
There are growing pains, as with any fast growing company, and you’ll have to be patient when they experiment with new processes, services, or client types. Many employees put in late hours. There is high risk of burnout if left unchecked. This is a very fast-paced client services agency and that inherently comes with a set of cons - there will be strict deadlines, client emergencies that pop up, expectations for quick turnarounds, and the occasional bad apple of a client. The producer role has it especially tough since they’re the main point person for managing clients.
