I worked for Barratt homes North Mids for 10+ years and while it used to be one of the best divisions to work for, the quality has gone downhill. Since Covid all teams have been pushed to the point of burnout because we are having to churn out work faster than we are given time to do. It was heartbreaking leaving, however I couldn't face another day of brutal workloads without going off sick with mental health issues. Since the merger it has only gotten worse. I still stay in touch with my former colleagues and I haven't spoken to one person who actually WANTS to work there anymore. This is evidenced by the amount of staff leaving in the past year and a half.
