Pros
I was just scrolling through some of the reviews and felt compelled to set the record straight on a few things. I've been at Barracuda a little over 5 years now, and have some opinions. Is Barracuda perfect? No. But, some of these negative reviews are just laughable...nothing but tirades of crappy ex-coworkers. I can also tell you exactly which ex-employees wrote each of these reviews and I think the level of saltiness on some of these is pretty hysterical considering who they are written by. If you have half an ounce of work ethic and are willing to put forth effort and be coached, then it's REALLY hard to fail here. Seems like management does everything in their power NOT to fire people sometimes...even to a fault. So, the irony of the angry negative reviews is pretty funny considering they were written by the laziest/worst employees. Does Barracuda pay the best compared to other tech companies? Meh. Not always on paper, but I'm still paid very well and I have a really healthy WLB. I also feel like I'm learning and being challenged, and that I'm valued by my manager which is a big reason I stay. I've seen tons of co-workers leave and most either bounce around from company to company every 1-2 years or try and come back to Barracuda when they realize the grass isn't greener.
Cons
project 'Apollo' was a bust...but we're mostly past that now.
