Pros
-Walker support is always quick & helpful and they’re always supportive when I need help or have to cancel walks
-Extreme flexibility in that I can create my own schedule completely: I’m able to choose the dogs I walk, the areas I walk in, and the times & days I’m available
-Management/founders are constantly asking for feedback from walkers and rolling out surveys prior to making big changes.. they REALLY make me feel as though they are taking their walkers into consideration with every big change they make
-They make constant efforts to try to really have an open line of communication between walkers and management
-The dogs & kitties (obviously the best part)
-I always get regular walks in no matter how busy my life is
-CONSISTENTLY the best walker rates out of all the dog walking apps
-Opportunities for walkers to move up in the company and/or become brand ambassadors
Cons
Hard to think of cons for Barkly but technically you are taking a risk anytime you meet someone new, dog or person, so in that respect you always have to take caution when taking on a new client. Of course, this situation applies to any meeting between an independent contractor and a new client and is NOT unique to Barkly in any way.
