Pros
Barge is a great company to work for for many reasons. The most important being the people here are respected and treated like individuals with lives and families outside of work. The work-life balance is greater than I've ever experienced. In addition to this, the salaried pay is competitive. Employees of all levels and job descriptions are able to work on projects that make a difference to the company and our communities.
Cons
Benefits are improving but still lag behind the market. Less PTO and an average 401k match can sting a little, but the other pros did and continue to outweigh this when I was job searching. The company is aware of its shortcomings in this lane and is actively working toward an increased match and more competitive PTO policy.
