My last supervisor was largely absent and left me to figure out what my role was. They then attempt soft lay-offs in the form of RTO, which didn't make sense since half my team wasn't local. Never saw an increase in pay over the years I spent there. Oh. And when things were a little rough, the EVP had a mass call talking about "weathering the storm" and went through a round of lay offs.
