Pros
I am coming from an environment where there was hardly any training. Although it becomes tedious to have to attend training classes after being with the same company for years, it is very refreshing to be given the opportunity to learn the systems and culture of a company before being required to bring in immediate business.
Cons
I would have liked to have had my computer, phone, business cards etc already waiting for me when I arrived as opposed to having to wait a week or so for them.
