Pros
Managers and Staff are given a high degree of autonomy to sink or swim with their programs. Resources are being deployed, and new Programs are being built across the Bank to improve in areas that need it. Great work life balance. A focus on performance rather than talk - so the dead weight doesn't stay too long.
Cons
Not a lot of feed back in the form of detailed Performance Reviews, mostly informal - so you don't know exactly how secure your job is. Short Term Incentives (Cash Bonus) are not given for the work already done. Long Term Incentives (Stock Options) for the work already done have a 3 Year vesting period. Certain people are in roles that they aren't really qualified or suited for.
