Pros

The leadership at BambooHR is amazing. They are open and honest with their employees and they truly care about the product, customers and their employees. I have worked in every type of company, from Fortune 500s to small startups. BambooHR is by far the best company I have ever worked for in my 20+ years in the work force. I truly love working here and I continually turn down the constant recruitment noise I receive on a daily basis by simply stating my love for this company. I even had Hiring managers from those recruitment contacts ask me what fosters such love and commitment to BambooHR. I gladly tell them. One of them even used that information to help them build loyalty in their organization. If you are willing to work your heart out for 40 hours. Be ALL-IN with your efforts in what ever your position is at BambooHR. You will be rewarded. I guarantee it. Your co-workers will be some of the best and brightest people you have ever worked with and you will do great things with them.

Cons

I really can not think of any major Cons for the company. They are more of selfish desires such as a more comprehensive medical plan with lower out of pocket costs, but whats offered is inline with the current employers.

Pros

At the end of my tenure, I really have no pros.

Cons

I'm pretty sure I was "quietly laid off", in the effort of sneaky downsizing without having to actually do formal layoffs. This place was a godsend and a great place to work on my small independent team, and I did great. Then they did massive restructuring, added layers of hierarchy, added process, and basically just starting running a creative team like a line of factory workers. I had a horrible time with my manager on so many different levels, and felt validation when others would reflect the same, but I reflect what everyone else says - narcissistic, micro managing leadership that I now understand play manipulation games. I was put on a performance improvement plan and finally quit due to burnout, stress, and the dissolution of a role and a team that I had from before. They constantly push for solutions and deliverables, but I never really saw anything I delivered actually get treated and implemented with respect. Company policies and siloed team policies and procedures stymie actual effectiveness, and it seems like the leadership acts as your strict grade school teacher rather than having your back.
