Pros
Fantastic coworkers and managers; clear job expectations; challenging and busy work environment, with a variety of responsibilities; flexible schedule (within reason), easy to schedule vacations and appointments around the work schedule Overtime offered when business was up. Good collaboration between departments, managers and employees.
Cons
Occasional conflicting work instructions from execs, with constantly changing processes (sometimes for the better, sometimes too many shifts all at once); no pay raises, even with increased responsibilities and increased revenue. Rolling layoffs/firings seemingly random. No warning given, and not tied to job performance left employees constantly afraid of losing their job. No clear direction or information from executive branch during shutdown/pandemic. We worked well past other offices, and several employees were sick with Covid, and it was never communicated to those who were exposed. Employees gave all, and were loyal to the company, but that loyalty was not reciprocated. a Very high numbers of layoffs, with no warning at all. Longtime employees literally had 1 or 2 days to try to secure unemployment benefits and health insurance when laid off in the last days of a month.
