Pay was decent for the little to no work assigned. It really made me question why I was even there in the first place.

The owner Nancy Bader was extremely rude every time I saw her. Unprofessional where she would argue with her husband in front of employees. Michael Leventhal the executive is racist. He either knows it or is oblivious to it. His comments were extremely offensive. Example #1 - I was asked why I didn’t apply to work at Univision. I wasn’t sure why he asked that and I would soon find out solely because I was Latina. Example #2 - I had to leave early to go see my lawyer. He asked me if it was to see my immigration lawyer. I was born in the United States. I was in an accident and had to see my lawyer about that. Example #3 - He yelled at me in his office when I didn’t know the host of a show on Univision. I don’t watch that show nor that channel. He assumed since I was latina that I do. Example #4 - He had me call a Miami office and speak to a woman he knew was latina. He forced me to speak to her in Spanish even though when she answered she spoke perfect English. When I switched to speaking English he got upset. He figured her and I would instantly become cool with each other if I spoke in Spanish. I believe I was hired for diversity purposes. It’s what I have to assume because only 3 other men worked there. A from different cultural backgrounds. One of them even told me not to get too comfortable because he sees a different latina woman every three months. He wasn’t lying. I started in December and was let go in February for no reason or explanation. I was told if I left early that day they would not give me a recommendation. I left immediately. I wouldn’t even want a recommendation from such a disgusting establishment. I have nothing positive to say about this place. It actually made me hate corporate and I officially started working as a freelancer. I want to add I got this job through a friend. Her cousin use to work there. Another latina woman who was let go. Racist remarks were also made to her. She was told most latina women have children out of wedlock because she wasn’t married when asked how many children she had. Smh.
