The work is interesting sometimes. Some teams are fun to work with. Pretty good benefits (although pay is on the low side)
Cons
BT could not care less about disabled employees, despite their status as a 'disability confident' employer. Managers can openly discriminate against you for having a disability and nothing will be done, unless you're willing to quit and take legal action. HR will do nothing to address workplace adjustments without your manager submitting the request on your behalf; if your manager refuses to submit the request, there is no way for you to get additional support to manage your disability. I desperately want to be able to do my job well and I'm prevented from doing this because I can't even have a conversation with HR about workplace adjustments, because my manager dislikes having an employee with a disability and they would rather I just leave. This is not just my problem. This is a massive company wide issue that is just not being addressed. It is absolutely shocking that a company this big can get away with systemic discrimination on a massive scale.
