Pros
BQI have evolved massively since I started nearly 10 years ago but have always been a company who genuinely care about each and every one of their employees. There is a constant buzz in the air across the whole company and despite rapidly growing in numbers over the years, there is still that sense of "family" amongst all the different teams and offices, always cheering each other on! BQI are fantastic at recognising and rewarding individuals for their hard work, enthusiasm and efforts, offer great career development for those who want it, and they take the wellbeing of their staff very seriously. Employee feedback is also extremely important to BQI and every employee is given ample opportunity to raise any concerns they might have, or to offer their ideas which are always welcomed by the Management team.
Cons
Whilst I am grateful for the 1 flexi-day per week, I do wish there was more flexibility to work from home (after Covid restrictions end!) as this would be really beneficial for my work life balance due to a long commute. Whilst I enjoy working as part of a team, I personally work a lot more productively from home and in that quieter environment it so would be great to have the peace of mind of more flexibility as and when we might need it.
