Pros

Great benefits, discount childcare, health, dental, eye. Fast paced environment, with lots going on. Control many of the current hit songs, in addition to tons of old greats. Lots of services, to make you think they really care....but they really don't.

Cons

They work with the smallest possible staff, which means everyone does 2-3 jobs for the price of 1. Salaries are as low as possible for the people doing the work. Managers are from Germany and don't understand how different the industry operates in USA. On top of which, MANY full time positions are actually given to interns (to save money, don't have to pay benefits). So many co-workers barely know what they are doing. Just doing what they are told without understanding how it fits into the big picture. Which then makes your job more difficult. Upper management says they want to hear your concerns, but when you are honest you get replaced. They just want you to march to the German parent company's orders and not ask questions.

Pros

A great training camp for those looking to break into the music industry

Cons

- Terrible pay ( I know multiple people who had to work jobs outside of BMG to make ends meet) - Cliquey employees - No one ever feels secure in their job placement - Constant lay-offs and reductions of staff - Virtually no more to grow - No systems in place for advancement - Far too many expectations to use A.I. in a creative field - They have no corporate values, mission statement, pillars, or real identity - They don't highlight exception employee work - Relies too heavily on cheap labor from other countries (some entire departments were laid off) - Constant change in leadership -No money invested in employees, the employee experience, or employee engagement - Non-existence onboarding and offboarding (no exit interviews, no help with benefits, etc) -Roaches in the building
