Pros

I just finalized my 3rd week on the job and I must say I am surprised. This is a company that is as "aged" as Oracle or HP, and that has gone through transformation before enough times so to incorporate those as motions to it's familiar rythm of work, yet it seems to me that right now it's all about looking inside and really pursuing a major goal or objective: true transformation. People is excited, discussions are mostly about doing better things and being more active on it and most importantly, the people who has to be discussing the money issues are the people who is supposed to do that, it is not a common theme among the whole company. They literally said "we got it, you guys innovate, think big, we have your backs". Result? 10 out of 10 reps with more than 6 months in the company already are overachieving; marketing is bringing up new tools to the table; services and support are proactively partnering with sales. This is a great place and a terrific moment to be right now.

Cons

Too early to say, I am really enjoying my time here and I'm surprised of how good I feel about it.

Pros

They hardly ever fire anyone.

Cons

They hardly ever fire anyone. Comp plan is terrible. You get paid on Opportunities sources but there isn't any criteria written down on what makes a discovery call turn into an opportunity. Leading them to cherry-pick deals and choose if you get paid or not. They don't have product market fit. The entire new logo space didn't close anything last year. Getting placed in a good, high paying seat is all dependent upon nepotism. No clear path for growth. Constantly moving the goal post and changing promotion criteria. The promotion path leads you to a role that has historically not closed a deal and the role is a huge pay cut for some BDR's leading to high churn or career BDR's.
