Pros
The option to SOMETIMES work from home (only with prior permission!)
Cons
Where to start.... There is plenty of 'management' within the business but zero leadership. Most of the managers are clueless (BMC fail to realize that a 'good' consultant does not make a good manager/leader!) One or two of the, managing consultants have absolutely appalling reputations which trickle down and tarnish decent consultants below them. They cant keep decent staff because the culture in the office is awful so its a revolving door of employees. Employees are actively discouraged from socialising outside of work, unless its a BMC organised event (VERY few and far between!) which can be controlled by the management. BMC refuse to pay for LinkedIn Recruiter (only company I have ever worked for that won't!) They do not own their own office/premises, they 'hot desk' in an open floor with several other businesses which means you are unable to make a desk your own, or feel like you are welcome to go in, yet you also get in trouble for working from home. Commission scheme changes constantly (so you're never quite sure how much you're due to be paid) and is one of the worst in the industry. I hear they're being taken to court by several candidates which doesn't surprise me at all.
