Pros
The team is small enough that it provides opportunities to develop and demonstrate skills in different areas of a project or product.
Cons
The company has gone through a shuffle of leadership positions. Recent management team is not sophisticated enough to understand the process of how a product comes into maturity to cater to MISSION CRITICAL applications or to profitably sustain a product line. A culture of bullying rather than positive reinforcement to motivate employees. Advisers to the top leaders are too insecure to speak out and give sound advice. Leadership demonstrates mediocrity, (very reactive not all proactive) - with short sighted brute force actions and no strategy for long term solutions to sustain stability or profitability. Reactive decision changes creates chaos, undue stress and a hostile work environment through out the company. Management shows little or no appreciation for the skills, experience or creativity of employees, resulting in highly valued team members leaving the company.
