Pros

• The company operates in an important and interesting global industry. • The office is in a prime location in Copenhagen. • You will likely work with some dedicated and talented colleagues at the non-management levels who are trying their best.

Cons

1. Nepotism and Cronyism Drive Decisions: The company is run like a private club, not a professional organization. This cronyism creates chaos in leadership roles; for instance, the CTO succession plan involved positioning the CEO's inexperienced friend for the job alongside another internal candidate widely seen by staff as undeserving. It sends a clear message that leadership decisions are driven by personal politics, not a search for competence. 2. Incompetent Technical Leadership and Financial Waste: The previous CTO was stripped of responsibilities after repeatedly wasting significant funds on external contractors with no quality control or metrics for success. This resulted in delivering poor solutions that required costly reworks and directly contributed to the company's cycle of technical debt. It highlights a fundamental failure in senior management to ensure quality and manage resources effectively. 3. Exploitation and a Culture of Hypocrisy: There is a stark "us vs. them" culture. Management enjoys first-class travel while staff budgets are aggressively minimized. This disrespect extends to exploitation, with former student employees being kept on student-level wages long after graduating. Diligent employees are routinely taken advantage of, leading to burnout; the recent stress leave of the office manager is a clear testament to this toxic dynamic. 4. No Psychological Safety: The company has zero tolerance for valid criticism. Providing honest feedback is met with either active retaliation (termination) or passive-aggressive tactics like stonewalling. As many have experienced, the moment you raise a valid complaint about the very real issues above, you are either ignored or forced out.
