Pros
None for now, as they have so many things to change.
Cons
I worked at BHP before this, and there were numerous red flags within the organization. They constantly talked about diversity and inclusion, yet they wouldn't hire someone who didn't have 'white skin.' This issue has plagued BHP forever. They often hired people within their connections using the referral program, which was a real scam. Many employees hired through this program were not sincere in their work and misused the benefits given in the name of working from home. The inside politics at BHP were rampant. The leads only chose their favourite person for promotion or salary increment, ignoring employees who worked hard to complete projects and favouring those who ingratiated themselves with the leads and higher management. Additionally, current employees preferred to refer their friends and family to join BHP, avoiding team members of different races or ethnicities.
