Pros
I have 10 years of working in insurance sales. The "affordable care act" has reduced my selling season down to 45 days each year. I have found a sales position that allows me to sell year round and make great money doing so. We do not work weekends and the call center closes at 6, so family life is still alive and well.
Cons
If you do not know how to sell, this might not be the place for you. Although I will say that my sells training has been great.
