Pros
-Getting to know your customers and finding that perfect person for them. -The fact that BG offers a full benefits package to their "temp" employees. (I hate the word "temp"). Few agencies don't offer benefits. -Weekly pay (I LOVE that) -Unlimited commission potential. You work your butt off, you'll be compensated. -LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Mentor program where they partner new DOS's with tenured DOS's. -Ability to work hard, take pride in your market and run it as if you were the business owner.
Cons
-Growth has come very quickly and company automation of manual procedures isn't keeping up -More personnel in the Hubs to offer support to the Staffing Coordinators -As a DOS, we work alone in our markets so staying focused and motivated is a must. This job is not easy and not for everyone. -Operations and Sales could do a better job of being on the same page. It's a team and it's not always approached as one. -Not sure what promotion opportunities are available for those DOS's that are successful and not by a Hub. Seems "Hub" DOS's (or those close to the Hubs) get more promotions than outer markets.
