Pros

Teams within the company are great and there is opportunity to learn

Cons

Company has been constantly restructuring since COVID and has had multiple rounds of layoffs each quarter. They let go employees not based on performance but salary. Leadership is constantly changing.

Pros

Outside of leadership, the people at BCV work hard for each other. The peer-to-peer camaraderie and support is one of the best things about the company. The long hours, lack of support from leadership, and enormous client load, create a sense of "we are all in this together." For those at the beginning of their careers, it is a great company to learn a little about a lot, and to take on an unusual amount of responsibility for a entry-level or junior level employee. But this is not the place to become an expert in your field. Benefits are outstanding. PTO days, work from home, insurance are all amazing for such a small company.

Cons

With very few exceptions, leadership at the company is completely closed off. Doors are shut. Information about the company is not shared outside of the closed doors of leadership offices. There is no transparency about major company changes--failures, direction-- that often negatively affect the lives of employees. Employees are not asked their opinions about workflows that directly impact them. And unless you are one of the favorites of leadership, who get favorable treatment across the board--better clients, better support, better benefits, kind words, consideration of personal life--there is no upward mobility. You will not be promoted. Client facing positions are turning into beauty/model jobs; the more attractive you are the more likely you are to be treated favorably.
