Pros

Good people, they made the job worth doing. Culture and values gets 3 stars because for these folks that take "trusted, innovative, and bold" more seriously than upper management.

Cons

The following only applies to the Electronic Systems sector in New Hampshire. Finances referenced can be found in their publicly published annual reports. After months(nearly years) of being told that we would be allowed to choose whether or not to come back to the office, management made the decision to bring all but the overhead positions back into physical work spaces. This flies in the face of widespread support for a hybrid model. The communication was messy with middle management clearly as frustrated as individual contributors. The choice to ignore employees was also made despite consistent execution across the sector with an at home workforce... This translates well into their financials. In the last 5 years, the only year to see a dip in operating profitability is 2020. Specifically related to"the fall in higher margin commercial revenues" largely driven by Boeing's own problems and declined commercial travel in that year. 2021's report shows a banner year operationally as operating profit rose to £715m in the face of declining revenue(Again, because "the pandemic continued to impact" Non-Defense Sales). To those that don't know, those "commercial revenue" happen largely in parts of the company outside of new hampshire. To summarize, BAE in New Hampshire made a top down decision to ignore their workforce even while that same workforce was executing their work as well or better than ever before...

Pros

My pros are my manager and team coworkers. Outside of that not really a fan. I do well at what I do.

Cons

Honestly, ever since new management has come for the upper VPs and directors, a lot has shifted for the negative. Feels very micromanaging when we were told we were doing fine at home and there was no reason to have us come back in the office. Now suddenly we’re being forced back to the office. Other departments and I don’t really get along because there’s a bunch of petty people just trying to get others in trouble and all I’m doing is trying to do my job. Where I am at, everyone just talks all day and then complains about how much work they have.
