Pros
Hard to think of many pros. They continue to pay staff I suppose. Some of the work is OK.
Cons
Where to begin. BAE have really messed this once interesting company up. They have removed most of the interesting consultancy work as it doesn't make money, and their strategy is to sell products, and to run government helpdesks. I guess BAE might make some money from this in the short term, but that makes it a boring place to work. Compensation is low, company culture is toxic, projects are incredibly dull. Attrition is very high, and people are being replaced by an endless stream of inexperienced graduates. Management are constantly pushing crazy ideas down the chain in order to justify their jobs and keep visible. The company could lose a whole layer of management and nobody would notice. Stay away if you want to stay sane.
