Pros

The role offers exposure to different industries and the opportunity to learn about innovation funding and consulting.

Cons

My experience unfortunately did not match what was presented during the hiring process or stated in my contract. Although the contract specified a hybrid working model, I was required to work from the office every day. The contract also mentioned flexible start times between 7:00 and 10:00, but in practice I was expected to start at 7:00 a.m. daily, which meant leaving home around 6:00 a.m. to catch the bus and waking up around 5:00 a.m. I would typically return home around 5:00 p.m., making the working day very long. Despite this commitment, my contract was terminated prematurely before the end of the probation period without clear justification or constructive feedback. The lack of transparency around this decision was disappointing. The general atmosphere in the office felt very quiet and subdued, and many employees did not appear particularly happy. There was very limited support for new hires while expectations remained very high. Additionally, the office conditions felt relatively basic, without even simple amenities such as filtered drinking water.
