Axos has a unique company culture which tends to put its employees through the grinder and more often than not sends them on their way voluntarily or not after a couple of years (just read previous reviews for further evidence on this.). Do not plan on making a lifetime job here (unless you love Trump and get promoted into mgmt)
Management can sometimes be confrontational and often is not politically correct.
Entire departments appear to be turned over every two years or so.
Excessive bureaucracy due to all processes having to be documented and signed off by multiple layers of mgmt at least once or twice a year, along with the usual bank regulatory overhead.
Frequent frustration and confusion due to "Office of the CEO" department, a group of mostly young new college grads who "double-check" and "suggest" new applications/company directions/processes that often conflict with other department directions (ie Jared Kushner in the Trump admin).
Bonus structure is in stock, takes a while to vest and provides little additional compensation, despite what they tell you in interviews.
