Pros
Some of the best benefits I've ever had. Knowing the nature of the work, the company works to help out with their employees' work/life balance. While there are, of course, times when it can get hectic... there are offsets, for instance, like a "vacation bonus", where the only requirement is for me present a movie of my vacation to my coworkers at our weekly staff meeting. And on top of what I hired on with, additional, creative, annual benefits have been added on.
Even though the agency is smaller, the opportunity for growth, advancement, knowledge, and experience is there. Due to the size of the team, the opportunity for your idea and voice to be heard is always there.
Direct access to anyone on the Leadership Team on a daily basis. The company has an (almost) always open door policy.
And, an annual trip out to the State Fair is definitely a "pro".
Cons
AvreaFoster is providing complex deliverables that rival the output of many large agencies.
That necessitates the employees to have a "can-do" attitude and be willing to step up....sometimes beyond what they feel their current role would require. While this happens at nearly every company, it is more apparent in a company under 50 employees and amplified if another coworker is not stepping up as well.
