Pros

None- Save yourself the trouble and time and don't work there

Cons

Beware of wolves in sheep's clothing! Avesis has the most chaotic and broken organizational structure that I have ever seen in a company. Do not work in the Implementation Dept. - No matter how hard you work- You will fail! My manager bullied me, harassed me and went to HR multiple times to slander my name. HR sided 100% with her because the business partner and HR manager are the president and co president of the mean girls club! They immediately discriminated against me as well and plotted with my manager to create a toxic work environment. I am convinced that my manager and co workers were planning on my downfall- especially the co worker that I worked closely with on a program change for a Health Plan. I received no support from her and she was going behind my back and spreading lies about me to my manager. How can you say that an employee is not good enough when she has not even been given the tools or resources to succeed?! I spent time after normal business hours in the evenings and on some weekends trying to understand the concepts needed for the job and no matter what questions I had or what points I made- it was never the correct "next steps", I would not be "good enough" in their eyes and I was not meeting the "expectations " of the job. But I know the real answer- discrimination! There are no black men or women in leadership at this company-NONE! This is a red flag that people of color need to be aware of. Please save yourself the time and do your research first before you accept an offer at this company. Don't make the mistake and regret your decision afterwards- know the truth first!

Pros

Benefits and 401(k) are decent. Compensation is decent and flexibility for time off and holidays is nice.

Cons

Culture is gutted. Going through an acquisition so the regularly scheduled and reoccurring layoffs will probably increase. Key players that have been around for a while are suddenly departing, which is always concerning. Leadership and what’s left in HR seem to be doing the wrong things and taking risks that aren’t best for EE’s, only bottom line.
