Pros
There are a lot of great people at Avanade. They provide good benefits and a good work environment. Obviously as a consultant exactly where and what you're working on can very a lot, but in my experience over almost 5 years the projects have been very good.
Cons
Being a consulting company obviously the work can very. You may have to travel some, though if you prefer not to they try to strike a balance with clients so you don't necessarily have to travel.
