Pros

Remote work, good lower management, underserved market

Cons

I was part of a recent hiring class in the last 6 months, And I’ve noticed some worrying trends. When I was hired, I was told the company was looking to grow its sales development team, and it certainly has been. It feels like they bring on 5 to 10 new people every month, but some of these people are being placed on pips right after onboarding, which I haven’t seen in any of my previous jobs. Many people are being let go within their first month now of work, also the head of business development recently left the company. rumors were circulating of disagreements between expectations, placed on the sales development team from upper management and him led to that. People being let go the week before Christmas even when they’re pacing. something, just feels off about this company, like the calm before the storm of another massive instance of tech layoffs. It doesn’t help that 10% to 30% of our leads each week are either bad data or non ICP, upper management doesn’t seem to care as we’ve been telling them this for months but we keep getting recycled bad leads every single week.

Pros

The ability to work with senior leadership and find areas of opportunity for myself and for the company which creates easy upward mobility

Cons

Consistently moving the goal post further while scaling back incentives and resources. Inability to retain entry level digital marketing associates because they were outsourced and would often leave for the next best opportunity. These teams were integral for my day-to-day and their pace and quality of work directly effected my sales cycles.
