Pros
Family-owned business (chain of convenience stores and car washes) which treats its employees like family. Owners are hands-on and work with employees, very concerned for our safety and welfare. Average pay but excellent benefits for full-time employees (very good health insurance). Employee flexibility for scheduling and staffing needs is appreciated by management and rewarded.
Cons
Limited opportunity for advancement. Store expansion (new stores purchased) balance out sale of older stores, so managers of stores that are sold have the first priority with management positions at newly-purchased stores. There isn't much turnover in management (that's a plus for the company, but a minus for anyone looking to advance) .
