Pros

- Money: Since you work on commissions, there can be months where you get a really nice salary. Base salary is low however, so months without commissions are not great. - Steep growth curve: You can become a Senior Consultant within 1-2 years already and grow to a Lead Consultant within another year from that.

Cons

There is a very toxic atmosphere hanging around the workplace due to the management. You won't notice it immediately at the beginning, because they believe in the principle of "hiring starters who are a bit naive and 'kneadable' (kneedbaar)". One of the 2 original partners said to me one day, in literal words, they break us down until we feel like nothing, so they can then build us back up into (in their standards) excelent consultants. Crying in the meeting room was a standard practice / a rite of passage when I was working here, it was quite normal that once every few weeks or months, when you had a bad month (so, low business / commissions etc.) the partner would talk to you in a meeting room and you would come out crying. Every time a new person started, it would only be a matter of time until we saw them come out of the meeting room crying. The work pressure is extremely high due to insane micro-management. The managers literally come and sit next to you, open every single file you are working on, point out all the mistakes in there and follow-up to make sure you do every single thing before you leave the office that day. It cost me a long time to fully get over the awful feelings I had from working here. Just do yourself a favor, don't apply or just go somewhere else. It's not worth the money. Some other negative points: - obliged participation to after-work activities - obliged availability during lunch time (even though you are in your break, clients may call so we have to be available) - obliged high standards on dress code, I got comments a few times when the sweater I was wearing was not "fancy enough" - come on guys it's 2023 - when you have a point of feedback about someone in the management you want to discuss (360° feedback), they call it "crossing the family" and it returns negatively on you

Pros

Absolument aucun avantages, à moins d'être masochiste.

Cons
