Pros
Great challenge, keep learning, lots of benefit
Cons
From the good old Connell Mott MacDonald days to Aurecon, the company keeps changing its business operation, IT operation, document control, business procedure, etc. Aurecon's intranet interfaces, templates, BST, etc are constantly changing. As an employee, it is very hard to keep track of the changes. Heaps of paperwork and redundant admin work to deal with in addition to real engineering work. Aurecon has sadly turned into a toxic workplace environment with poor morale and some uninspiring arrogant leaders. Management ppl mindlessly chasing financial numbers. Weekly performance of individual employee are closely monitored and emailed to everyone. P&D is a joke and total waste of time, every year everyone spend significant amount of working hours doing it it for the sake of fulfilling the ORGANIZATION requirements. KPIs are poorly set, and impossible to meet. Due to sick culture and poor leadership, this place is encouraging selfishness... Stagnant wages, no work/life balance, lots of unhappy people. High turnover rate.
