Pros

The company culture is actually tight knit in some regards but it's mostly like people who are surviving management and trying to find a silver lining with in their peers. There's snacks and in some ways management makes strong attempts to cultivate the team. There's a lot of freedom to really create your own niche in your profession. Sometimes it does get exciting to see the company make strides.

Cons

There are cameras EVERYWHERE and the management is breathing is always suspicious of employees taking advantage of company time. They will move you around like pawns and completely disregard what it is you were actually hired to do or what your passion is. They really have no loyalty to their employees in so many ways and to be honest I felt a certain degree of sexism in a way that seemed old fashion. Their management style is out of date and bafflingly ridiculous at times. They spread their resources too thin and don't seem to really know what it takes to really get where their going which is evident in the lack of pay, the lack of loyalty to its people and the lack of trust they have in their employees.

Pros

Half Day Fridays twice a month. Yes!..Hats off to Management for this implementation. Since this was an employee suggestion, thanks for listening. We are definitely headed in the right direction.

Cons

Lots of untruthful gossip is started by former employees that did not have good intentions for the company, which is disturbing to the rest of the employees and creates a lot of unnecessary gossip.

Pros

The only pro to this company is if you've applied to an opportunity and they like you, they'll offer you employment on the spot.

Cons

The CEO and CMO are the problems and the ultimate cancer in this company. They are unethical, disrespectful, racist, sexist, demonstrative, ignorant, and infallible when it comes to the lack of success the company has had. Their hiring practices are destructive, biased, and drive their lack of retention, and it shows in the force they currently have being that they only have one or two people that have been there over 5-6 months. They make promises that they NEVER follow up on such as hiring people with the guise of raising their pay when they prove their worth, but when the time comes to discuss the pay raise, they avoid the discussion at all costs. Then when faced with having to pay someone, they give the most minimal pay they can. If you decide to accept an offer with Atypical, proceed with caution. There is no future there and I'd be surprised if they're in business after the next 2-3 years. In closing, believe NONE of the positive reviews of Atypical Brands here in Glassdoor. They hired a reputation management company to post those reviews. NONE of them are real.
