Low-balled me to oblivion. They said the client can only afford to pay around 60% of my expected salary. Later on, I found out that they actually charged the customer my asking salary, but they took a 40% cut. Neither me nor the client knew about this before hand. No wonder they kept on reminding me during the interview to never discuss salary with the client. It would have been understandable if they were providing for things like equipment, workspace, government mandated benefits, etc. Unfortunately, they provide absolutely NOTHING aside from the initial matching. They even charged me for the freight cost of sending the ATM card for my payroll account.
