Pros

Uk business is decent with an intelligent leader (British gent). Plenty of opportunity as they prefer 'recycling' employees than hiring externally (particularly post acquisitions). Pays bonuses which keeps most of engaged and a decent benefits package too. People are lovely. Recognised brand. Work from anywhere you get a signal.

Cons

French Exec leadership style needs to be really, really thought through...shouty emails, scaremongering tone and regionally driven like a Private Equity firm. They're all mates from previous companies...narcissism and nepotism prevails. Everyone fills out timesheets...we are all units of labour. Agility of a tortoise and is becoming a bit of a sweatshop particularly if you land in the wrong division...
