Cons
I've worked for a good number of companies in my life, including temp agencies and grocery stores. Atos is probably the worst I've seen. I think it largely depends on your position and where you're placed, and I was able to work at one of the best places they have a contract with. Here is a list of cons I can think of at the moment: -Atos intranet site is completely terrible. So much effort goes into adding to your profile with things that are totally pointless. Mandatory training series that are common sense and almost insulting. -One time Atos did not pay me for 40 hours of work on a check. The company refused to cut a special check to pay my rent in time. -HR and Payroll departments do not communicate changes to employee benefits, leading 120 per month to be stolen from me for months. This required constant pestering of upper management to correct. -Underhanded tactics meant no raises for 90% of our team, many are going on 2-3 years without even a penny more. For some of the top performers, an "accolade" of 100 dollars was like throwing a dog a bone. -Told during reviews that management "understands if we need to look elsewhere", meaning that everyone is replaceable at a lower rate. -Often employees are burdened with a high workload and many layers of responsibility past our required duties, without any chance of promotion or pay increase.
