Pros
When you're billable, they care just for weekly time sheets, other than that you're independent in your work as long as there are no complaints.
Cons
When you're non billable, you days are numbered. You either have to have connections or have to look for a position for yourself. There is no recruitment/placement effort from the company. Apply on the company job site and you will never ever get any response. Most of the positions are old already decided or withdrawn.
