Pros
-health benefits -401k -interesting work -salary is decent, ask for your worth -bonus -flex time policy in Dallas office specifically -huge corporate interest and investment in your safety, both in the office and your personal life
Cons
-heavy workload -fully returning to office with absolutely no offer of a hybrid work schedule due to needing to please investors by utilizing building renovations that employees did not ask for -my first time every working for a company that did not request any type of employee feedback through surveys for decisions. Ask your employees how they feel and what they want to see through anonymous surveys and listen to them. I’ve heard 6+ people in my department talk about retiring early or looking for new employment due to the lack of a hybrid work offering. People are going to leave and soon if something doesn’t change -impossible to move because people stay in one position for their entire lives. maybe a mass retirement won’t be so bad after all -pto does not match other companies. Definitely old school and behind on the times in this area as well -a lot of red tape, lack of communication, absolutely zero transparency that is starting at the very top level and trickling down to department heads. This has such a huge domino effect that’s being felt in the Dallas office
