Pros
My overall experience with my former employer was generally good. My day consistently was routine with little or no surprises, but we rolled with the punches when they came.
I learned, with the help of management, the necessary steps of completing my work effectively and competently, and that dedication and loyalty matters. By the way, dedication and loyalty can only be learned by example, which was shown by management.
Cons
My experience with co-workers could have been better if they would have appreciated the same hard work that I put into my every day functions and learned through, not only my example, but managements.
Unfortunately, the above statement was the hardest part of my job; to deal with half-hearted and negative attitudes really breaks down the whole work-related environment.
In the same respect, when everyone was giving 100 %, without attitudes, that gave me a sense of cooperation, and dare I say, family. I am pleased that despite what type of state of affairs there were, I gave 100 %.
