Pros
You will learn a lot. About yourself about the industry you’re recruiting for and what you’re really want to put in for a job. The people that work there really believe in what they’re selling.
Cons
If you are someone that wants work life balance this is not the place for you. If you’re willing to dedicate 50+ hours a week and give 2000% of yourself at work, then you will find success. You will also find success if you are comfortable in a metric heavy environment. It is not about quantity over quality, it is about quality quantity over effort. The people who work here truly believe in what they are selling and want to push people to be their most successful. But it comes at a cost that not everyone strive for. Also the company (in this region) is not structured for recruiters to find success. All decisions are made with Sales people’s success in mind. Recruiters are expected to work their hardest to make sure sales wins. And there is a general lack of dedication to success of the recruiters outside of making them a sales person.
