Pros

The job was work from home.

Cons

Everything they told me about the job was a lie. First they forgot to schedule me for vetting so my start date that they had given me was delayed by a week. They also had told the client I worked for it was my fault. They praised the job and told me that everyone would like the job and had great opportunities at this client of theirs. As per contract there was NO PAID TIME OFF, even the HOLIDAYS were UNPAID, so in you would only have 4 paid days in a week with a holiday. The working hours were horrible and you had to get up at 4.30AM! Pay was promised to go up after 6 months of training and the benefits and time off would be suppossedly great when then hired by the client. ( This was also a lie. The pay does not go up and the client provides only 5! DAYS of paid time off. This was not only a very high stress job for $19.50 an hour, furthermore the training was unorganized, ambiguous and the worst I ever had. I quit after a few weeks. Some other people quit even earlier. The most horrible job I've ever had.

Pros

Aston Carter provided excellent opportunities for professional growth, career progression, and leadership development. I had the opportunity to work with some of the largest healthcare and insurance clients in the country, build strong client relationships, and lead high-performing teams. The company offers strong training, a collaborative culture, and a performance-driven environment where hard work is recognized and rewarded. I was fortunate to work alongside talented colleagues and supportive leaders who helped me grow both personally and professionally.

Cons

Like many staffing and recruiting organizations, the environment can be fast-paced and demanding, with a strong focus on metrics and performance goals. Work-life balance can be challenging during peak periods, and processes can sometimes vary between offices or leadership teams. However, these challenges also create opportunities for growth and development.
